Cooking and preparing meals are one of the things Maria Ozawa would like to do. Here are some things she told us about this passion of hers.
Growing up by herself at a young age, Maria learned to cook by the time she was 17. Self-taught, she learned by reading cookbooks.
Having lived in Japan for most of her adult life, she prefers preparing Japanese food because the ingredients are readily available in the market. Nevertheless, she intimated that her favorite cuisine is Chinese.
Ozawa admits that she has not cooked for her family yet, and that is one thing that she would like to do. For that occasion, she would serve them a dish they have never tried before.
To those who want to learn culinary arts, some of her advice are to: always use a measuring cup, learn different kinds of meals, and have a vegetable garden at home.
