Maria Ozawa is a celebrity familiar to everyone.
She started her career as a model in 2005 with the name of Miyabi. A few months later, she decided to use her real name after she signed to a top AV studio in Japan. This catapulted her into becoming one of the hottest and most recognizable adult stars in Asia and the rest of the world.
With this fame and notoriety, Ozawa appeared in different Asian editions of FHM magazine. She did a photoshoot for FHM Taiwan in 2009 and was the cover in FHM Philippines’ June 2015 issue. She was 16th in the publication’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2015 list.
Since then, Maria has transitioned to more mainstream roles, having appeared in movies produced in Taiwan (Invitation Only), Indonesia (Menculik Miyabi; Hantu Tanah Kusir), and the Philippines (Nilalang). Before that, while she was still a budding adult star, she played the role of Anita in the TV drama adaptation of Tokumei Kakarichō Tadano Hitoshi (Eng: Hitoshi Tadano, the Extraordinary Undercover Detective) back in 2005 and 2007.
Maria Ozawa is currently in a relationship with a Filipino celebrity chef. She returned to Japan to be with her family during the COVID-19 pandemic.
